I must be doing something wrong, probably because of my little knowledge, because the emu does not running for me.
From a console on Windows Vista I compiled with "make no-graphics"
The compiler used is :
(version 3.82.90 GNU Make Built for i686-pc-cygwin)
I get an executable 8086tiny.exe of 72kB. without warnings.
The execution command in console:
8086tiny bios fd.img hd.img (the hd.img is a 40 MB ascii file)
The emulation does not seem to work well, the emu displays on a new line FreeDOS and leaves the cursor after the last letter.
Does not respond to any commands even if the screen echoes in the keystrokes pressed.
After a considerable number of keystrokes entered shows the following additional information:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D:\dnld\8086tiny_111>8086tiny bios fd.img hd.img
FreeDOS

I expected a prompt type A :/> or something similar and then to proceed with the fdisk utility to to adapt the hard drive.
I'm assuming of course that the file fd.img contains an OS type "DOS" and I do not have to add anything.
Any idea to continue?
Thanks in advance
